MZ: Tell us a little bit about your family members.
I'll go straight up the line from me. Elijah is 18 and he is starting to break out into the snowboard scene big time this year. With a win at the Junior Worlds and an invite into both the X-Games and Artic Challenge, he's going to kick some ass. Then there's Josh who's 21 and has never had a drop of alcohol, for real. He is interested in books and he likes to collect panda bears. Next is Abe, a 23 year old who has already accomplished so much in his life. Abe is the one who got our family started snowboarding; he's been a major influence on the world. Before Abe came Amen, the oldest of the Teter tribe. Amen is a funny person with a lot of spirit. When I was little I called him 'my favorite brother.' My parents, Pat and Jeff, are amazing people. I can't relate them to any other people; they are just one of a kind. They've always been here for all of us, every day and night, hour and minute; I can always count on them.

MZ: I know you also skateboard. Are you at competition level in that sport? What other things do you like to do?
Right now I am just skating for the fun of it, but I hear I could go pro in this sport, too. Soccer is another sport I love to participate in. I like to do all sorts of stuff, wakeboarding is fun, biking is fun, whatever I basically find fun, I do.

"Everything related to sports I find contributes to snowboarding, so really I am training every day of the year..."

MZ: Who are your sponsors and what other equipment do you use?
Burton Snowboards, the company who has been with me from the start, introduced me to the best gear and hard goods in the world. Anon, sweet goggles, good vibe. The U.S. Team, a sponsor through which I get to ride and train with some of the best riders in America. Mountain Dew, Nixon, and Clif Bar, rock on, right?

MZ: How do you train, where and for how long?
Now that I am on the U.S. Team I've started training on snow in the summer, and I've already had my first competition with them, out in Chile. Everything related to sports I find contributes to snowboarding, so really I am training every day of the year.

MZ: Do you have time for a boyfriend, or do you have to put off the social scene for a while?
No boys for me. I'm still a social person; I just haven't met any extraordinary males that strike my fancy.

MZ: What is your favorite...
MZ: Movie?
Brave Heart

MZ: Food?
Sweet Cereal

MZ: TV Show?
No

MZ: Music?
All kinds

MZ: Celebrity? Haley Joel Osment, the little boy who said 'I see dead people...'
