After two solid days of fog and mist, the weather finally lifted bearing less than favorable snow conditions for a Friday the 13th parallel slalom at Whistler as the World Cup tour returned to North America, and Austrians took five of six podium spots.


Fletcher Grabs PSL Victory in SWE

Rosie Fletcher bagged her fifth career parallel slalom victory at Tandadalen, Sweden as the WC Snowboard Tour prepared to head to North America for the Nokia Snowboard World Cup.

Veteran racer Stacia Hookom (Edwards, CO), riding under a self-imposed "shape up or ship out" edict, overcame gnarly snow conditions Tuesday to finish second behind Olympic snowboard champion Isabelle Blanc of France in a parallel giant slalom on the Rettenbach Glacier.
