What an amazing end of the week at the Night Shoot Out. A huge crowd came together to check out the last men’s event of the Burton European Open. The riders had to go through a knock-out format, which meant the 1st of the qualification had to ride against the last who qualified for the Finals. A very exciting system and the crowd went off.

Rider of the night was without a doubt Austrian Thomas ”Beckna” Eberharter, who went bigger and higher than anyone else. Unbelievable riding from Beckna who rode against Joni Malmi in the so-called ‘Big Finals’. Beckna stomped a huge Backside 1080 and a Backside 7. “It was such a great event, I’m stoked!”

Joni Malmi from Finland represented with a Switch Backside 720, but the landing wasn’t that clean. Joni had this to say: “Tonight was great. I just don’t like it, I love it!” He came 2nd anyway.

"Tonight was great. I just don’t like it, I love it!"

In 3rd place came Austrian Chris Kröll showing a huge Backside 720. Chris was definitely pushing himself to the NEXT LEVEL.

Winner of the NINTENDO GAMECUBE Best Trick Contest was Eero Ettala from Finland, with a Frontside Rodeo 5 over the Nintendo GameCube Obstacle.

After the Night Shoot Out Finals, the Awards Ceremony for all disciplines took place. Terje Haakonsen himself handed out the very popular T.T.R. (Ticket to Ride) Medals to Slopestyle Winner Jussi Oksanen, and to a very stoked Halfpipe Winner, Vinzenz Lüps.
