Today the Slopestyle Qualification and Finals were held. The setup of the Slopestyle was impressive with a few changes made as requested by riders. The riding level was amazing, and all competitors showed technically difficult tricks and runs.
The most impressive rider was Finland’s Jussi Oksanen, who showed Butter to Switch BS 7’s. Jussi had the following to say: “I had a really rough morning, everything went wrong, so I wasn’t expecting too much from this day, I took it easy. The contest was really good and the riding level of all of the guys was great. The Burton European Open in general was brilliant, I really liked it!”
Swedish Hampus Mosseson came in second place rocking the house and displaying one sick run after the other.
Third came another Scandinavian, Finnish rider Jukka Eratuli, showing insane rail tricks and going off with rotations. Jukka stated: “It was a lot of fun riding the Slopestyle today. The setup was pretty cool and I’m super stoked that I made it on the podium.”
