Hookom, Fletcher 6-7 in Soelden PSL
Parallel Slalom
Soelden, Austria — October 30, 2002

Frenchman Mathieu Bozzetto won his second World Cup snowboard race in 24 hours Wednesday, overtaking Olympic PGS champion Philipp Shoch of Switzerland to capture a parallel slalom on the Rettenbach Glacier while Swiss rider Ursula Bruhin edged Nicolien Sauerbreij of The Netherlands in the women's race.

Stacia Hookom (Edwards, CO), who was second in the PGS Tuesday, was sixth and Rosey Fletcher (Girdwood, AK) was seventh in the women's PSL while Pete Thorndike (Meredith, NH) had the top U.S. men's result, finishing 34th in the field of 69.
